Gym Rat Blackout - Magnacut Edition
The Gym Rat was designed by our in-house Cerakote guru, Bryan Schellenger. Bryan wanted to come up with a small, light, but effective blade that could be easily concealed with minimal clothing, and that idea was spawned at the gym. Of course, this is a great little blade for daily carry no matter the role.
The Gym Rat Blackout has a 2 3/8" talon style blade, with an overall length of just over 5". Made from 1/8" Nitro V stainless steel, the knife is deceptively light at only 2.3oz. The blade is coated in black Cerakote for a low viz look, and it also offers a level of corrosion resistance. The knife features Black G10 composite handles with a starburst style texture, the handles are secured with Grade 5 titanium fasteners. The titanium barbell bead is there to add additional area to grab to get a solid purchase on the knife, and give you a place to rest your last digit. The handles are just over 3", so the bead is the perfect addition without creating too large of a handle.
The Gym Rat Blackout includes a Kydex sheath with a ball chain so you can wear it as a "necker", and we include an ambidextrous clip adapter suitable for pocket carry, and outside the waistband carry.
